Naturalbee Lip Tips

NO LICKING YOUR LIPS
Licking your lips may feel like it moisturizes them, it however, dries them out.

USE A PROTECTIVE LIP MOISTURIZER
Naturalee Organic Lips uses Organic Oils and Beeswax to moisturizer and protect your lips. Others contain eucalyptus, camphor, menthol, or alcohol that may dry your lips out more.

TAKE A DRINK, SEVERAL
Drinking up to 8 glasses of water a day has many health benefits; including softer, smoother, and healthy lips.

EAT HEALTHY
A balanced diet is also a health booster.

DRY HEAT IS TROUBLE
Forced air heat can be a problem at work or in your car. Consider a humidifier or a mister near by to keep the air around you moist.

BE CAREFUL
There are skin drying products all around us. Shampoo coming into contact with your lips may dry them out. Check the base of any products you apply to your lips, like your lipstick. Try to use products with moisturizing ingredients like sunflower oil, coconut oil and beeswax for some added protection. With a little extra attention you will find it easy to keep your lips in tip top shape.

Our Beeswax

Did You Know?

One of the key ingredients in NaturalBee Organic Products is beeswax. Beeswax is used in many skin care products because it provides a protection against irritants while still allowing the skin to breathe. It also offers anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral benefits making it helpful in treating skin irritation.

Our USDA Certified Beeswax:

We only source only premium beeswax from our supplier’s beehives that adhere to the strict guidelines set forth by the USDA. Our supplier’s organic beeswax does not just claim to be organic like most beeswax brands out there – Our supplier’s beeswax is certified by the USDA to be 100% pure organic and 100% toxin free.

What makes our product certified organic?

Our supplier’s beeswax is certified organic because it adheres to the strict guidelines set forth by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The USDA rely on trusted international certifying organizations to inspect and evaluate local and international beekeepers and their farms regularly to ensure they follow the strict guidelines set forth by the USDA. Our supplier’s beekeepers are inspected and evaluated by U.S. based international organic certification company, Quality Assurance International (QAI).

What do you mean by Awaken Nature’s beeswax is “bee-friendly”?

Our supplier’s beeswax is bee-friendly firstly, because our supplier’s beekeepers use no chemicals and antibiotics in their beekeeping practices. Secondly and even more importantly our supplier’s beehives are located far away from any commercial farms, public and home gardens, garbage dumps or any place where harmful pesticides might be used. Pesticides called “neonics” are claimed to be responsible for killing large amounts of bee-populations in the USA and internationally and traces of “neonics” have also been found in beeswax.

How do I help protect bee populations and the plants dependent on them by choosing certified organic beeswax?

By choosing to purchase USDA Certified Organic Beeswax you send a clear message that you prefer beeswax that are toxin-free and created in a pesticide free environment without the use of hormones or chemicals. You help us spread the word about dying bee populations by choosing our product and telling your friends.

LEAPING BUNNY CERTIFIED

ABOUT LEAPING BUNNY – HOW IT BEGAN

By 1996, ‘cruelty-free’ shopping had become popular, but it was also confusing, sometimes misleading, and ultimately frustrating. Companies had begun designing their own bunny logos, abiding by their own definition of ‘cruelty-free’ or ‘animal friendly’ without the participation of animal protection groups.

In response, eight national animal protection groups banded together to form the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics (CCIC). The CCIC promotes a single comprehensive standard and an internationally recognized Leaping Bunny Logo. We work with companies to help make shopping for animal-friendly products easier and more trustworthy.

USDA Certified Organic Information

Naturalbee Organic uses high quality USDA certified Organic and natural ingredients in our products. We have started the process to become USDA Certified Organic. Here is some information on USDA Organics & Organic Labeling.
Cosmetics, Body Care Products, and Personal Care Products
(United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing Services, National Organic Program, Cosmetics, Body Care Products, and Personal Care Products, April 2008)
FDA does not define or regulate the term “organic,” as it applies to cosmetics, body care, or personal care products.
USDA regulates the term “organic” as it applies to agricultural products through its National Organic Program (NOP) regulation, 7 CFR Part 205.
If a cosmetic, body care product, or personal care product contains or is made up of agricultural ingredients, and can meet the USDA/NOP organic production, handling, processing and labeling standards, it may be eligible to be certified under the NOP regulations. The operations which produce the organic agricultural ingredients, the handlers of these agricultural ingredients, and the manufacturer of the final product must all be certified by a USDA-accredited organic certifying agent. Once certified, cosmetics, personal care products, and body care products are eligible for the same 4 organic labeling categories as all other agricultural products, based on their organic content and other factors:
“100 percent organic”–Product must contain (excluding water and salt) only organically produced ingredients. Products may display the USDA Organic Seal and must display the certifying agent’s name and address.
“Organic”–Product must contain at least 95 percent organically produced ingredients (excluding water and salt). Remaining product ingredients must consist of nonagricultural substances approved on the National List or non-organically produced agricultural products that are not commercially available in organic form, also on the National List. Products may display the USDA Organic Seal and must display the certifying agent’s name and address.
“Made with organic ingredients”–Products contain at least 70 percent organic ingredients and product label can list up to three of the organic ingredients or “food” groups on the principal display panel. For example, body lotion made with at least 70 percent organic ingredients (excluding water and salt) and only organic herbs may be labeled either “body lotion made with organic lavender, rosemary, and chamomile,” or “body lotion made with organic herbs.” Products may not display the USDA Organic Seal and must display the certifying agent’s name and address.
Less than 70 percent organic ingredients–Products cannot use the term “organic” anywhere on the principal display panel. However, they may identify the specific ingredients that are USDA-certified as being organically produced on the ingredients statement on the information panel. Products may not display the USDA Organic Seal and may not display a certifying agent’s name and address. (Water and salt are also excluded here.)
Any cosmetic, body care product, or personal care product that does not meet the production, handling, processing, labeling, and certification standards described above, may not state, imply, or convey in any way that the product is USDA-certified organic or meets the USDA organic standards.
However:
USDA has no authority over the production and labeling of cosmetics, body care products, and personal care products that are not made up of agricultural ingredients, or do not make any claims to meeting USDA organic standards.
Cosmetics, body care products, and personal care products may be certified to other, private standards and be marketed to those private standards in the United States. These standards might include foreign organic standards, eco-labels, earth friendly, etc. USDA’s NOP does not regulate these labels at this time.
